The Connolly Alexander Institute for Data Science (CAIDS) is an independent, interdisciplinary academic institute at Tulane University that supports a culture of data and AI literacy across every academic level and field. Through classroom courses, co-curricular programming, short-form workshops, and public events, CAIDS equips the Tulane community with the ability to read, work with, analyze, and communicate about data. The institute promotes data literacy across disciplines, supports career readiness and student leadership, fosters collaborative data and AI research, and builds connections between students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
